Training Camp

Introduction 

(The following policy is effective starting from 07/16/2024.)

To improve the acupuncture board exam pass rate and expand the number of U.S. qualified licensed acupuncture professionals, Global TCM designs an intense training camp program for acupuncture board licensing exam preparation. Please note that the training camp requires a minimum of 5 participants to initiate and is limited to 10 seats for each module. If fewer than 5 participants enroll, the training course will automatically switch to our regular board review course. Scroll down to the bottom of this page to learn the difference between a training camp and a regular board review course. 

Global TCM will periodically organize Board Review Training Camps. The upcoming training camp in Foundation, Acupuncture, Biomedicine, and Herbology is ongoing. There is no strict application deadline for the training camps organized by Global TCM. We'd like to offer you the opportunity to join the regular board review course first while waiting for the training camp to start. If we reach a minimum of 5 participants, we will initiate the training camp. If you pass the exam by taking our regular board review course, the future training camp will not be necessary for you. However, if you have not taken the exam or do not pass it, you will still have the opportunity to participate in the future training camp (same module) for free.

• Applicants will be refunded the remaining fee, minus the cost of mailing study materials, if the cancellation notice is received within 1-3 days (including the 3rd day) after the intense training camp course commencement date.

• Applicants will be refunded 50% of the remaining fee, minus the cost of mailing study materials, if the cancellation notice is received within 4-7 days (including the 7th day) after the intense training camp course commencement date.

• Applicants will not be refunded if the cancellation notice is received more than 7 days after the intense training camp course commencement date, except for medical excuses or other emergencies that impact your ability to complete the course. Please notify the office immediately and provide a physician's letter and/or emergency evidence, and you may qualify for a refund of the remaining fee, minus the cost of mailing the study materials.

• We plan to recruit a minimum of 5 candidates to initiate the intense training camp, but each module will be limited to 10 participants. Due to limited seats, please contact us and complete your registration at your earliest convenience. 

• To reward active participants in the training camp, there will be a chance to win one of three levels of Global TCM gift cards: Golden ($150), Silver ($100), and Bronze ($50). These gift cards can be used for your next review course or CEU courses. The winners will be voted on by your camp colleagues after the training camp concludes.

• If you are organizing your cohort to enroll in the training camp, you must let your cohort members complete the registration 15 days before your group's preferred raining camp start date. For example, everyone must complete their registration for the training course in Biomedicine before 08/15/2024 because this module will begin on 09/01/2024. This ensures you have sufficient time to receive the course materials.
